GES960 Graphite Gea Luce Outdoor Wall Sconce, IP65

Name: GES960 Graphite Gea Luce Outdoor Wall Sconce, IP65
Brand: Gea Luce

The Gea Luce GES960 is a graphite outdoor wall light with a rectangular body and light emitted in two directions. Its housing is made from die-cast aluminium, while polycarbonate forms the diffuser. There are no decorative arms or exposed bulbs: the appearance rests on a simple horizontal shape and the contrast between the dark casing and the light diffuser. Two directions of light beside the wallA 10 W integrated LED module is supplied as part of the fixture, so there is no separate bulb to select before use. The manufacturer specifies a luminous flux of 395 lm, a colour temperature of 4000 K and a beam angle of 120°. This is neutral white rather than warm white. Consider that distinction when combining it with other lights already installed on the same facade. The GES960 operates by switching on and off; it cannot be dimmed. If your lighting plan calls for adjustable brightness, this particular version does not provide it. Its two-direction emission can be used to create a light accent on a vertical surface. The output of one fixture does not, by itself, establish how well an entire terrace will be illuminated.A restrained shape for exterior wallsThe manufacturer specifies outdoor wall installation. The IP65 rating provides protection against dust and water jets, not immersion. Consider it for a facade, terrace or balcony wall, or a suitable boundary wall. Its plain geometry suits modern and minimalist architectural schemes. Before choosing a position, check the available mounting surface and the intended route of the electrical installation.Connection and cleaningThe supply is 220–240 V AC. Protection class I requires a correctly connected protective earth. The instructions call for installation by qualified personnel and disconnection from the mains before work. For cleaning, they recommend a damp cloth with mild detergent, followed by gentle drying with a soft cloth. Keep cables and electrical components away from water and cleaning products.Show more
