ARGON RODAN 655 Chrome Wall Light 2x E27 IP20

Name: ARGON RODAN 655 Chrome Wall Light 2x E27 IP20
Brand: ARGON

Argon RODAN 655 is a wide wall light made from chrome-plated steel and opal glass. Its horizontal rectangular body has a smooth metal front with a glass panel underneath. This chrome version takes two E27 bulbs; it is not a fitting with an integrated LED module.A low horizontal profileAt 40 cm wide and 7 cm high, the fitting creates a horizontal line without a tall shade or projecting arms. The manufacturer's drawing gives a depth of 7 cm. Compare these dimensions with the available wall space and the position of the electrical connection before choosing its location. Width matters particularly between furniture or beside a door frame, where a low profile does not necessarily mean the fitting will fit.The opal glass panel screens the bulbs from view underneath, while the chrome casing remains visible. The photograph shows the arrangement of metal and glass, not a fixed light colour. That depends on the bulbs selected separately. Two replaceable bulbs to buy separatelyThe light requires two E27 bulbs rated at no more than 15 W each, with a 230 V supply. The manufacturer permits only LED or energy-saving bulbs. No bulbs are included, so two suitable light sources must be purchased before the fitting can be used. The manual limits each bulb to 50 mm in diameter and 105 mm in height, so check its dimensions as well as its base and wattage. Their luminous flux and colour temperature determine brightness and light colour. E27 identifies the screw base, while the 15 W limit does not specify a lumen output. Check the bulb specifications as well as the fitting's requirements rather than treating this as a light with a predetermined brightness.Rooms and interior styleThe manufacturer lists living rooms, bedrooms, studies, kitchens, hallways and teenagers' rooms. Wall mounting adds lighting without using floor or furniture space for a freestanding lamp. The plain rectangular body and combination of chrome with opal glass support modern and minimalist interiors, as well as restrained classic schemes. RODAN 655 is one particular chrome version within a wider family. When choosing other RODAN fittings to accompany it, compare their dimensions and finishes rather than relying on the shared family name alone.Show more
