Norlys Moss DC6805CS Garden Spike Spotlight, Corten Steel Colour, LED 6.8 W 24 V DC, 3000 K

Name: Norlys Moss DC6805CS Garden Spike Spotlight, Corten Steel Colour, LED 6.8 W 24 V DC, 3000 K
Brand: NORLYS

The Moss DC6805CS is a compact garden spotlight pushed into the ground: a cylindrical head 8.5 cm across sits on a curved arm mounted on a steel spike. The cast-aluminium body is powder-coated in a corten-steel colour – a rusty brown close to RAL 8011 – and the front is closed by clear safety glass. The head swivels, vertically as well. 24 V supply and what you need to buy separately The spotlight runs on 24 V DC, so it cannot be connected directly to the 230 V mains. It needs an external constant-voltage power supply, which is not included; choosing it and doing the installation is reserved for a qualified person. Protection class III means the fitting is fed with safety extra-low voltage, with no protective earth. The fitting comes with 3 m of H05RN-F 2 × 1 mm² cable already attached, to be connected in a suitable junction box; Norlys sells box 145ZX0009 separately for this. The LED module is designed for dimming, and brightness is controlled on the supply side, as specified in the installation design. What light it gives The integrated LED module draws 6.8 W and the fitting delivers 768 lm at 3000 K, a warm white. The beam is symmetrical and very narrow – 15° at a luminous intensity of 6114 cd – so the spotlight does not light up its surroundings; it picks out one chosen object from the dark. According to the manufacturer's photometry, the light spot is about 0.24 m across at a distance of 1 m, 0.48 m at 2 m and 0.73 m at 3 m. Compare these sizes with the tree trunk, column or sculpture you want to highlight. The module is rated L90B10 above 135,500 h, and Norlys provides for its replacement only by a professional service. Where and how to place it The housing is rated IP65 – dust-tight and protected against water jets – so the spotlight can stand in a lawn or flower bed without any cover; impact resistance is IK06. The manufacturer intends it for lighting gardens, private grounds and architectural features. Including the spike the fitting is 27 cm tall, while the head with its arm measures just under 11 cm. It weighs 0.56 kg and needs no foundation: the spike goes into the ground, and the 3 m cable lets you set the spotlight away from the junction box and move it when the planting changes.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
