Name: V-TAC Surface Mounted LED Panel Premium Downlight 24W Square 300x300 VT-60024 3000K 2500lm
Brand: V-TAC

VT-60024 is a square surface-mounted LED panel in a white plastic housing measuring 287 x 287 mm and 30.7 mm deep. The LED is permanently built in and the whole underside lights through a milky diffuser. The fitting weighs 0.56 kg. Surface mounting, so no ceiling cut-out The panel screws straight to the ceiling and needs neither an aperture nor void above it. That is the one difference that really decides between this model and the recessed VT-61024 of identical rating: on a concrete ceiling, in a loft with no framing, or anywhere there is no room above the ceiling, the recessed version will not fit and this one will. Once mounted the housing stands about 3 cm below the ceiling line. With a suspended ceiling it is worth comparing that height against the headroom actually left. How much light it gives The panel draws 24 W and delivers 2500 lm, which works out at 105 lm per watt. 2500 lm is roughly three times the old 60 W bulb, so a single panel serves as the main light for a small room: a hallway, a utility bathroom, a pantry or a compact kitchen. 3000 K is warm white, light with a slightly yellow cast, closer to a filament bulb than to daylight. Colour rendering is 80+, the usual figure for general lighting; where colours have to be judged precisely, fittings rated Ra 90 and above are the ones to choose. Supply and service life The fitting runs directly from 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz mains and needs no separate driver. It is not dimmable, so wiring it into a dimmer circuit will not give any control over output. The diode is integral and cannot be changed like a bulb, so when the module is spent the whole panel is replaced. The manufacturer states over 15,000 switching cycles and a two-year warranty, and the fitting is intended for dry interiors.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
