Mantra Morne 7482 LED wall light, black, 45 cm, IP44

Name: Mantra Morne 7482 LED wall light, black, 45 cm, IP44
Brand: Mantra

Morne 7482 is an LED wall light shaped as a straight black bar 45 cm long, held on a short arm in front of a rectangular backplate. The body combines aluminium with polycarbonate (PC), and the light comes out through an opal diffuser along the lower part of the bar. The fitting is rated IP44 and belongs to the Morne series by the Spanish brand Mantra. Size and where to mount it The bar is 45 cm long and 6 cm high, and the arm holds it 14 cm off the wall, so the light sits in front of the mirror or picture frame instead of lying flat against the wall above it. The backplate measures 13 × 6 cm — compare that with the spot where the supply cable comes out of your wall. Choose the length to suit the width of the mirror or picture. The Morne series also includes 60 cm (16 W) and 75 cm (20 W) bars for wider surfaces. How much light, and what kind The light source is an integrated 12 W LED. It comes with the fitting, so there is no bulb to buy, but it cannot be replaced: the manufacturer rates it at 30,000 hours and 30,000 switching cycles. The fitting delivers 1080 lm, roughly what an old 75 W incandescent bulb gave. At 4000 K the light is a neutral white with no yellow cast, and the colour rendering index of Ra 80 is the standard level for home lighting. The wall light is not dimmable and runs from an ordinary switch on 220–240 V mains. Protection class II means double insulation, so no earth conductor is needed. Mantra gives a 5-year warranty. Which rooms it suits IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction, which is why the light can be mounted in a bathroom above the mirror. The manufacturer also intends it for lighting a painting or print on the wall. The design is modern: a smooth rectangular bar with no ornament and a black finish that stands out against a pale wall or white tiles. Mantra makes the same model in white and in chrome as well.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
