MURIEN coffee table 70 cm burgundy-cherry gloss Nova Nook

Name: MURIEN coffee table 70 cm burgundy-cherry gloss Nova Nook
Brand: Nova Nook

MURIEN is a square coffee table 70 cm to a side, in a deep burgundy-cherry colour with a high-gloss finish. The top has strongly rounded corners and a thick, softly curved edge, and it stands on four cylindrical legs set inwards from the corners. The surface reflects the room like a mirror. How big it is and where it goes The 70 × 70 cm top sits at 34 cm — roughly 10 cm below the seat of a typical sofa, so a mug put down does not have to be reached up for. A table this low is not meant for eating at while seated. A 70 cm square is usually placed 40–45 cm out from the edge of the sofa to leave a walkway, so with that gap it takes up about 110 cm measured from the sofa. It weighs 24 kg, which means it gets pushed rather than lifted one-handed. What high gloss means day to day The manufacturer states plainly that high-gloss surfaces scratch more easily, and recommends coasters under anything placed on the table. It also advises avoiding direct contact between the top and wet or hot dishes — a cup of tea belongs on a mat here, not on the surface. A mirrored surface also shows fingerprints and dust more clearly than a matt finish. This is a table that gets wiped more often than a textured piece would, in exchange for a colour that gains depth under light. Shape and colour The four legs are circular in section and the same thickness the whole way down, and setting them in from the corners makes the top look as if it floats slightly above the floor. The edge of the top is rounded, with no sharp corners — which matters in a room people walk through. The manufacturer describes the colour as burgundy-cherry: a saturated dark red that reads as brown in low light and as red in full light. The whole piece — top and legs alike — carries the same colour and the same gloss.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
