ASLAK is a Nordlux ceiling bar carrying three spot heads in a black RAL 9005 finish. Each head sits in a metal yoke with a knurled screw, and a round canopy covers the supply point. The inside of the shades is the same black as the body. Three heads you aim separately The shades tilt and turn, so each of the three points is set on its own — the light can be spread along a shelf run or gathered onto one spot. The manufacturer allows mounting on the ceiling and on the wall alike, so the same bar will light a worktop or a wall of pictures. Which bulbs you have to buy The fitting has three GU10 sockets and no bulbs are supplied — three have to be bought. The manufacturer gives 35 W as the maximum per bulb; that is the fitting's limit rather than its consumption, so a GU10 LED bulb stays well inside it. Dimming is possible but depends on the bulb: you need lamps described as dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit. The fitting itself has no brightness control. Where the look comes from The manufacturer describes the ASLAK series as modern and industrial in style, and it follows straight from the construction: a plain tube instead of a decorated base, exposed yokes with adjustment screws, unbroken black with no ornament. The inside of the shade is as black as the body, so the fitting does not stand out against the ceiling with a pale interior when switched off. Dimensions, weight and mounting The bar measures 56.5 cm long and the shades project 20 cm from the mounting surface — compare that second figure with the space above a worktop or beside a cabinet so the heads do not get in the way. A single shade is 8 cm across. The fitting weighs 0.77 kg. Class II means double insulation, so it connects without an earth conductor.
