Name: Norlys Koster 724AL outdoor wall light, light grey RAL 9006, E27 LED max 9 W, IP54, IK10, 44 cm projection
Brand: NORLYS

Koster 724AL is an outdoor wall light on a straight arm: a tubular arm runs from a round mounting plate 12 cm across and ends in a domed shade 24.5 cm in diameter. The body is cast aluminium, powder-coated light grey RAL 9006, and the underside of the shade is closed by a clear, textured cover of UV-stabilised polycarbonate. Size and where it goes The light projects 44 cm from the wall and stands 24 cm high, so the shade hangs well clear of the facade, over a doorstep, steps or a path by the house. If it must fit under a canopy or in a recess, compare the projection with its depth. The mounting plate is screwed to the wall through three ø7 mm holes, and the maker also provides for mounting on the corner of a building. The light weighs 2.74 kg. What light it gives and which bulb it needs The shade sends the light only downwards, symmetrically around the axis of the fitting. With 0% of the light going above the horizontal (ULOR), the path or threshold below is lit, not the sky or the upstairs windows. Inside is an E27 socket for an LED bulb of up to 9 W in the A55–A60 shape, the classic pear. No light source is included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself, and changing the bulb needs no service technician. Durability and connection IP54 means protection against dust and against water splashed from any direction, so the light can hang on an exposed wall. IK10 is the top grade on the scale of enclosure impact resistance, which matters at entrances reachable from the street. A silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland keep it sealed. The fitting is protection class I, so it must be connected to the protective earth. The terminals take conductors up to 3×2.5 mm² and a through-wired link to the next fitting up to 3×1.5 mm²; the supply cable needs a round sheath 7–10.5 mm in diameter for the gland to seal it. The shade is available as a service kit, number 06710000. A plain dome on a tubular arm, with no ornament, is a form in the Scandinavian vein. The light is intended for house facades and gardens, and for the entrances of hotels and restaurants.Näytä lisää
