Im Gegensatz zu der Basis von Siliciumdioxid C8 oder C18-Säulen, hat PRP-1 keine beschichtete stationäre Phase. Die integralen Umkehrphaseneigenschaften der PRP-1-Säulen beseitigen die Notwendigkeit für spezielle Beschichtungstechniken.
