CUTERVO Luces Exclusivas LED Pendant Light with Globes, Black and Gold Ø84 cm LE44602
CUTERVO is an LED pendant light whose light comes from small globes threaded onto black cables. The cables drop from a round black canopy in loops of different lengths, forming a cascade that narrows towards the bottom. Each globe is 6 cm in diameter, white, and wrapped on one side by a shiny gold shell – the manufacturer's photos show about thirty of them.Size and where to hang it The canopy is a flat disc 84 cm in diameter and 4.5 cm deep, and the whole light measures 120 cm from the ceiling to the lowest globe. Subtract that from your own ceiling height and you know how high above the floor the lowest point of the cascade will be – and, over a 75 cm dining table, how much space is left above the top. The cables leave the canopy at eight points, so at the ceiling the cascade is about 80 cm wide and only narrows further down. The 84 cm diameter is the figure to compare with the width of your table or the free space above the sofa. At 120 cm tall the light is best hung over a piece of furniture rather than in a walkway, where the lower globes could end up at head height. How much light it gives The light source is integrated LED modules drawing 102 W in total and delivering 8914 lm – roughly eleven times an old 60 W bulb (about 800 lm). That is enough for CUTERVO to be the main light in a living room rather than just a decoration. A colour temperature of 3000 K is warm white: cosy, but less yellow than the light of a traditional incandescent bulb. The LED modules come with the fitting and are built in permanently, so there are no bulbs to buy, but the light source cannot be replaced by the user either. The light runs on 230 V mains.Which rooms it suits The form is modern: the smooth black canopy and black cables contrast with the white globes and gold shells. The light suits the living room and a spot above the dining table – places where furniture stands beneath the cascade and the nested cable loops can be seen from the side.Zobraziť viac
