Bellatrix Side H0116 is the recessed frame alone, in black metal with a matt finish, with no light source. The inner cone is offset from the axis of the ring, so the module sits in it at an angle and the light leaves obliquely rather than straight down. What has to be bought with it The manufacturer states plainly that the fitting works only with the Bellatrix LED module H0112, which is sold separately. Without it H0116 is an empty mounting ring — that is a second item in the basket, not an option. The H0112 module arrives with its own driver and is dimmable to the TRIAC standard, although the manufacturer does not include a wall dimmer with it. The same module fits every fitting in the family: H0113, H0114, H0115, H0116, H0117 and H0118, so one chosen combination can be repeated at further points. Size and the cut-out The visible ring measures 9.8 cm across and the hole to be cut in the ceiling 9.0 cm. The fitting alone is 4.8 cm tall; with the H0112 module seated the whole assembly is 8.0 cm deep, and that much room has to exist above the suspended ceiling or inside the board. It is the figure to check before the hole is cut, because nothing shifts once the frame is in: the 8.0 cm counts upwards from the face of the ceiling. Build and where it goes The body is metal finished in matt black, and the inside of the cone carries the same tone, so the edge of the opening does not stand out as a pale ring. What stays on the ceiling is a flat black circle. The Side version is rated IP20 and is intended for dry interiors — a living room, a kitchen, an entrance hall or a corridor.
