PINNE 90 is a linear aluminium wall lamp in a black finish, 90 cm long with a 6 × 6 cm cross-section. Light leaves through the bottom, across an opal diffuser that runs the full length of the lower edge — what you see on the wall is a slim black profile rather than a glowing point.How big it is and how it goes upThe profile measures 90 cm long, 6 cm high and 6 cm deep. Compare that length with the width of the wall, mirror or piece of furniture it is meant to sit above — the lamp takes up a band of that length and stands 6 cm proud of the wall. It weighs 3.65 kg.The fitting is wired permanently into the mains: the manufacturer's installation sheet shows a mounting bar screwed to the wall and a terminal block inside the body. PINNE 90 is protection class I, so an earth conductor has to reach the back box — on an installation without earthing, plan for that before fitting.How much light it gives and of what kindThe LED module draws 24 W and puts out 3120 lm. That is roughly four times an old 60 W bulb, so one fitting lights a whole passage rather than just the wall around it. The 4000 K colour is neutral white, with no yellow cast — light of this temperature supports concentration while you work.Colour rendering is Ra 90: fabrics, wood and pictures show their colours under it almost as they do in daylight, which matters anywhere the colours have to be right. The opal diffuser spreads the light along the whole length, so the diodes are never seen directly. The source is integrated — no bulb to buy, and none to change either: when the module reaches the end of its life, the whole fitting is replaced.Which rooms it suitsThe manufacturer intends PINNE 90 for a corridor, a staircase, an entrance area and above a bed in the bedroom, as well as for offices and studies. The form is minimalist: a plain rectangular profile with no ornament, a single black finish and no visible fixings.
