Nora 2465CS Corten-Colour LED Outdoor Wall Light by NORLYS

Name: Nora 2465CS Corten-Colour LED Outdoor Wall Light by NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

The Nora 2465CS is a flat, square outdoor wall light in cast aluminium, powder-coated in a corten-steel colour (close to RAL 8011). It is paint on aluminium rather than steel, so the body does not rust. Light leaves through a clear safety-glass cover both upward and downward, drawing a band on the wall above and below the fitting.Size and mountingThe body measures 13 × 13 cm and projects only 5 cm from the wall, so it stays out of the way beside a front door or in a narrow passage. It weighs 0.85 kg and is fixed with two screws through ø5 mm holes spaced 63 × 112 mm — worth comparing with the holes left by an old fitting before you drill. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm², and the supply cable needs a round sheath of 7–10.5 mm diameter. The next fitting can be looped through with up to 5 × 1.5 mm², so a row of these lights along a facade runs on one supply line. The maker also states how many fit on one circuit breaker, given the driver's 6.7 A inrush current: 46 on B 10 A, 74 on B 16 A or C 10 A, and 119 on C 16 A. The fitting is protection class I, so it is connected with an earth conductor. How much light, and what kindTwo integrated LED modules draw 10.3 W together and deliver 745 lm at 2700 K, a warm, slightly yellowish light close to a traditional bulb. For comparison, an old 60 W bulb gave about 800 lm. Half of the flux goes up and half goes down (ULOR 50%), so the light washes the facade rather than only the ground below. The light source is included — there are no bulbs to buy.The driver is built in and controlled over DALI2. Dimming runs through a DALI bus with a suitable controller, not an ordinary phase dimmer. The maker rates the driver at 100,000 h — at twelve hours a day, that is over twenty years.Where it fitsNorlys designed the Nora for lighting walls and facades. IP65 means a dust-tight body protected against water jets, so it can hang on an open wall with no canopy, and IK09 means high impact resistance. The plain square form without ornament suits modern, Scandinavian architecture.Pokaż więcej
