NORLYS Lillehammer DC1584AL is an outdoor wall light designed to place a narrow downward accent on a wall or façade. Its rectangular body is made from powder-coated cast aluminium in the aluminium-colour finish RAL 9006. This is the 24 V DC version: it requires an external power supply and must not be connected directly to 230 V mains.A narrow beam for architectural accentsThe optical system directs light downward on one side with a 4° beam angle. That distinguishes this version from Lillehammer fittings with a wide distribution. Choose it for a narrow trace of light on a wall rather than treating it as a broad floodlight. The resulting reach also depends on mounting height and the arrangement of nearby surfaces.The light is warm white at 3000 K. The 3.6 W LED module produces 532 lm, while the complete luminaire delivers 16 lm. These figures describe different stages of the optical system and are not interchangeable. When planning the installation, use the luminaire output and its distribution, not the module's higher figure as an estimate of the light leaving the housing.Allow for the power supply and controlsThe integrated module needs an external constant-voltage 24 V DC power supply. It supports dimming, with external control selected to suit the installation design. This does not establish compatibility with any ordinary mains dimmer. The LED source is replaceable by a professional service rather than by changing a conventional screw-in bulb.Installation should also be undertaken by a suitably qualified person. Plan the low-voltage connection and the location of the required power supply alongside the position of the wall light.Housing size and wall fixingThe body measures 18.5 × 11 × 8 cm. Two 5 mm fixing holes are arranged at 45 × 130 mm centres. Compare the housing and fixing dimensions with the available wall space and intended cable route before installation.Optical safety glass, a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland form part of the IP65, IK08 construction. The installation cable must be 7–10.5 mm in diameter; correct cable entry is important to retain the seal.
