V-TAC VT-11109 solar LED wall light 9 W with motion sensor, IP65, white, 15 × 15 cm

Name: V-TAC VT-11109 solar LED wall light 9 W with motion sensor, IP65, white, 15 × 15 cm
Brand: V-TAC

VT-11109 is a solar outdoor wall light shaped as a white 15 cm cube in aluminium and polycarbonate. The photovoltaic panel takes up the whole top face of the housing, and light leaves through slots at the top and the bottom. The fitting has no mains connection — it runs entirely from its own battery.Where it takes its power and how long it lastsA 3 W panel rated at 3.7 V sits on the housing, and a 2600 mAh battery stores the energy. V-TAC quotes 8 hours of charging and 8 to 30 hours of operation — the spread comes from the light running at full output only after it detects motion, and dimming or going dark between events. With no supply cable involved, the mounting position is chosen for sunlight rather than for the route of the wiring. The top face has to see open sky for most of the day, or the battery will not reach a full charge. The motion sensor and three modesThe built-in microwave sensor covers a 120° arc and picks up movement from 4–5 metres. On detection the fitting reaches full brightness in 0.001 s, with none of the slow ramp familiar from cheaper solar lamps. The sensor only starts working below 15 lux, that is at dusk.Three modes are switched by holding the switch for 3 seconds. By default the light dims to 15 lm after 30 seconds without movement and returns to 100% on detection. In the second it goes fully dark and comes on only for movement. In the third it stays lit while the light level is below 15 lux.How much light it gives and where it can hangThe LED COB module gives 860 lm at 9 W and a colour of 3000 K, that is warm, slightly yellow light, with colour rendering of Ra 80 and above. Movable shutters set the distribution anywhere from 0 to 90°, from a narrow band up the wall to a wide cone below the fitting. An IP65 rating means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so the light may hang without any cover over it. V-TAC names mounting at a gate, in the garden, on a balcony, in a gazebo, on a fence and in a yard. The cube measures 150 × 153 × 150 mm, weighs 1.29 kg and carries a two-year warranty. Its light source is built in and cannot be replaced.Pokaż więcej
