NORLYS Sol 4051CS Outdoor Ceiling Light, Rust Corten Colour, LED 19.1 W 3000 K, Dimmable, Ø20 cm IP65

Name: NORLYS Sol 4051CS Outdoor Ceiling Light, Rust Corten Colour, LED 19.1 W 3000 K, Dimmable, Ø20 cm IP65
Brand: NORLYS

The Sol 4051CS is an outdoor ceiling light shaped as a low cylinder, 20 cm in diameter and 11 cm high. Its extruded aluminium body is powder-coated in a rust corten-steel colour — a paint finish, not steel, so the housing does not corrode. A clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser closes the underside, and the light comes from an integrated 3000 K LED module with the driver built into the fitting. How much light it gives The fitting delivers 2101 lm for 19.1 W, or 110 lm/W — the output of main lighting rather than a marker light, enough above a covered terrace or in a gazebo. 3000 K is warm white. The light falls symmetrically downwards, and Norlys states ULOR 0.3%, so almost nothing escapes above the fitting. The luminaire meets the EU limits for flicker (Pst LM ≤1) and stroboscopic effect (SVM ≤0.4), and a CRI of 80 is the usual colour rendering level for outdoor lighting. Dimming and servicing It can be dimmed with a phase-cut dimmer of either kind, trailing edge (TE) or leading edge (LE), so it works with both dimmer types found in home installations. The driver is included, so no separate transformer is needed. The LED module and driver are not user-replaceable, but a professional service can replace them — Norlys lists an LED service kit (ZS4043ZX0009) and a driver service kit (ZS4046ZX0009). Rated module life is over 50,000 hours (L70). Mounting and durability The light is fixed to the ceiling with two screws through ø5 mm holes 100 mm apart. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to loop on to the next fitting (up to 1.5 mm²), and the EPDM gland seals round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. As a protection class I luminaire it must be connected to the protective earth, so installation is a job for a qualified electrician. IP65 means it is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction, so it copes under eaves where rain is driven in. IK10 is the top rating for impact resistance. The plain, unadorned cylinder is a modern design, and the rust colour pairs with wood, concrete and corten on a façade.Pokaż więcej
