Sandvik 1730CG Gray GU10 NORLYS Outdoor Wall Sconce

Name: Sandvik 1730CG Gray GU10 NORLYS Outdoor Wall Sconce
Brand: NORLYS

Sandvik 1730CG is an outdoor wall light shaped as an upright cuboid, cast in aluminium and powder-coated in cement grey. Light leaves through two faces — the top and the bottom, both closed with clear safety glass — so the fitting draws two streaks on the wall: one upward, one downward.Size and mountingAccording to the manufacturer's drawing, the light is 21 cm tall and 8 cm wide, projects 11 cm from the wall and weighs 1.4 kg. The narrow body fits on a pillar, beside a door frame or between two windows. It is fixed through two ø4.5 mm holes spaced 37 × 97.5 mm apart. For mounting on the corner of a building the manufacturer offers corner bracket 148, sold separately. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the supply can be looped on to the next fitting with cable up to 3 × 1.5 mm², so several lights on one façade run from a single feed. The gland accepts a round cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. The light is protection class I, so it needs a supply cable with an earth conductor.Light sourceThe fitting has two GU10 holders for PAR16 LED lamps of up to 4 W each. Lamps are not included — you choose the colour temperature and brightness yourself, and a spent lamp is replaced without a service call. In the same housing Norlys offers version 1731 with two lamps supplied.Half of the luminous flux goes upward (ULOR 50%), which makes Sandvik a façade-washing light rather than one for places where no light should reach the sky.Build and where it goesA silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland seal the housing to IP65: the light is dust-tight and withstands water jets, so it can hang on a wall without a canopy. IK08 means the housing has increased impact resistance. The plain, smooth form without ornament suits Scandinavian, minimalist architecture — the manufacturer intends the light for homes as well as public spaces.Pokaż więcej
