DORIA 6008 is a three-light flush ceiling light from Argon's 2025/2026 collection: three cylindrical shades sit on short brassed joints on a round white base plate. The shades are finished in white textured paint and the connecting parts are brassed. Each shade turns and tilts on its own. How much room it needs and how it mounts With the shades spread, the fitting fits inside a circle up to 47 cm across and comes down at most 21 cm from the ceiling. The manufacturer gives both figures as maxima because they depend on how the joints are set — folded parallel, it takes noticeably less. One shade is 15 cm long and widens from 5 to 6 cm across; the base plate is 3 cm thick. The fitting screws directly to the ceiling with two screws and plugs, both supplied — the only tool needed is a drill. It weighs 1.8 kg net. It is class I and therefore needs an earth conductor: in wiring without earthing it cannot be connected as intended. Which bulbs fit inside the shades The fitting takes three E27 lamps of up to 15 W each, LED only — on the installation card the manufacturer crosses out the incandescent bulb and ticks LED. No lamps are included, so you choose colour and brightness yourself: 2700–3000 K gives warm light, 4000 K neutral. A separate limit applies to the bulb envelope: 50 mm diameter and 105 mm length at most. The usual A60 bulb is 60 mm across and will not go in — golf-ball, candle and slim tubular lamps do. It is worth checking that figure on the packaging before buying the lamps. What the adjustment gives you, and where it belongs Three independently aimed shades split the light from a single point on the ceiling: one beam onto a worktop, one at a wall, one into the depth of the room. The opaque cylinders carry the light narrowly in whatever direction you turn them, so the fitting lights chosen spots rather than raising the level of the whole room evenly. The style is recorded as modernist and the form bears it out: plain cylinders on joints, no ornament, white against brass. Its uses run to the living room, bedroom, dining room and hallway, as well as hotel and restaurant interiors. It is made in Poland and the manufacturer specifies it for indoor use only.Pokaż więcej
