Pendant Lamp Max Light Amalfi II P0578 Natural Woven Paper 45 cm
Amalfi II is a pendant lamp with a two-tier shade woven from twisted paper cord in a natural, unbleached tone. The upper cone is wider, the lower one narrower and slightly offset; both bottom edges are wavy rather than cut level. The suspension, ceiling rose and lampholder ring are white and stand apart from the warm colour of the weave. How big it is and how high to hang it The shade is 45 cm in diameter and the whole lamp measures at most 165 cm — the drop is shortened during installation. Above a table the lower edge is usually set 70–80 cm over the top: the light then covers the whole tabletop and the shade does not block the face of the person sitting opposite. Forty-five centimetres of diameter keeps the proportion over a table 80–90 cm wide. In a living room or bedroom the lamp hangs higher, so it is worth comparing the maximum drop of 165 cm with your own ceiling height — in a low room the suspension has to be shortened. What light source it takes The fitting has one E27 socket and takes a source of up to 15 W. No bulb is included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself — over a table 2700–3000 K is the usual pick, that is warm, slightly yellow light that matches the natural colour of the paper. The 15 W limit rules out a traditional incandescent bulb; LED sources fit within it. The manufacturer does not provide for a dimmer, so brightness is set by the choice of bulb rather than by regulation. How it lights and where it fits The weave is open — the vertical cords stand apart and between them you see the inside of the shade and the bulb itself. Light therefore leaves not only downwards but also sideways, drawing a striped pattern on the walls. For the same reason the bulb stays visible, which is worth taking into account when choosing it. The form is boho: natural fibre, a hand-made-looking weave and an irregular shade edge. The lamp suits a dining table as well as a living room and a bedroom, wherever it hangs over a particular spot. The Amalfi series also includes a black version of this model and the Amalfi I model.Pokaż więcej
