Outdoor wall lamp BASEL 661ST Stainless Steel Norlys

Name: Outdoor wall lamp BASEL 661ST Stainless Steel Norlys
Brand: NORLYS

Basel 661ST is an outdoor wall light on a rectangular back plate, with a stainless steel front and a curved diffuser of satin safety glass. Two horizontal stainless steel bands run across the glass, and the base of the fitting is powder-coated cast aluminium. The light has an E27 socket and is sold without a bulb. Size and wall mounting The fitting is 31 cm high and 21 cm wide and projects 13 cm from the wall, figures to compare with the spot by your door or on the facade. It weighs 3.06 kg. It fixes through two ø4.5 mm holes spaced 138 × 50 mm apart; any further mounting accessories are bought separately. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the next fitting can be fed in a loop with cable up to 3 × 1.5 mm², so several wall lights on one wall run from a single supply line. The cable gland takes round-sheathed cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. The fitting is protection class I, so it must be connected to a protective earth, and the manufacturer requires installation by a qualified electrician. Which bulb to choose The fitting takes an E27 bulb in the A55–A60 shape up to 110 mm long, and the manufacturer allows LED up to 9 W. No bulb is included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself — at a front entrance warm light of 2700–3000 K is the usual choice. This version has no motion sensor. The satin glass diffuses the light, so the bulb does not glare and the wall around the fitting is lit too. The manufacturer gives a ULOR of 17%: roughly one sixth of the light leaves above the fitting and also brightens the facade above it. Durability and where to mount it The IP54 rating means protection against dust and against splashing water from any direction, so the light can hang on an exposed outside wall. Impact class IK07 means resistance to an impact of 2 J. The diffuser and the gasket are available from the manufacturer as spare parts, so broken glass does not mean replacing the whole fitting. The light suits a house facade and the space above a front door, as well as entrances to hotels and restaurants. The plain shape with horizontal bands is a classic design in a Scandinavian style, pairing the stainless steel front with frosted glass.Pokaż więcej
