Lutec MAINS 9702201012 Outdoor Power Post Matt Black 31 cm

Name: Lutec MAINS 9702201012 Outdoor Power Post Matt Black 31 cm
Brand: Lutec

Lutec MAINS 9702201012 is an outdoor power post with Schuko sockets, not a garden light. Its rectangular die-cast aluminium housing has a matt black finish, with socket covers on the front. It provides a connection point for electricity in the garden but does not produce light itself.Understanding the 3500 W limitThe manufacturer's 3500 W rating is the maximum combined load of the connected appliances. It is not a lamp wattage, a measure of brightness or the consumption of an integrated light source. Check the power requirements of the equipment you intend to connect against the limit for the entire post. Do not treat the figure as a separate allowance for each socket.Schuko sockets use side earth contacts. Before buying, check that your appliances' plugs are compatible with this socket system. Lutec identifies this version as intended for European plugs; it is not a universal outlet for every international plug format.Allowing space for plugs and cablesThe housing measures 31 cm high, 8 cm wide and 8 cm deep. Compare those dimensions with the location planned in your garden. The sockets are relatively close to ground level, so account for access to the covers as well as the space occupied by connected plugs and cables. Straight surfaces and a matt finish give the post a restrained modern appearance without ornamental detailing.Connection and outdoor conditionsThe manual specifies a supply of 220–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz and electrical protection Class I. A protective earth connection is therefore required. This is not a device intended to operate without earthing; installation and connection must follow the manufacturer's instructions.IP54 provides limited protection against dust ingress and protection against splashing water, not immersion. The stated ambient temperature range is −20 to 50°C. In coastal locations, Lutec recommends regular cleaning with a dry cloth and no detergents. Choose MAINS when the requirement is an outdoor electrical connection. Lighting that area calls for a separate luminaire, rather than a bulb added to this power post.Pokaż więcej
