MAUI/AMBITUS 30 is a table lamp 52 cm tall: a round wooden base, a straight wooden stem and a tapered white polycotton shade 30 cm across. The wood is pale and unstained, with the grain visible. The bulb is bought separately and the limit is 15 W The lampholder is an E27, but no bulb is supplied — the colour of the light, its brightness and whether it can be dimmed depend entirely on what you fit. Rendl recommends its own E27 source, article G13026, for this lamp. The manufacturer gives a maximum lamp wattage of 15 W. That is a ceiling, not the fitting's output: a classic 40 or 60 W incandescent will physically screw into an E27 holder but exceeds the figure several times over, so in practice only LED sources qualify. Under a fabric shade that matters, because the heat has nowhere to go. How big it is and how it is switched At 52 cm tall with a 30 cm shade, the lamp occupies a disc on the surface barely wider than a coaster, yet spreads well beyond it higher up — compare that width with the depth of the bedside table or console it is meant for. The whole lamp weighs 0.62 kg, so it is easy to move and just as easy to knock over. The cord is 160 cm long with a switch on the cable, so the light goes on without reaching under the shade. Finish and rooms Base and stem are wood, the shade is polycotton — a polyester-cotton weave that passes diffused light while hiding the bulb itself. Wood is a natural material, so the shade of colour and the grain differ from piece to piece.
