CABRERA C0047 is a round recessed downlight 15 cm across, made of aluminium finished in matt white. The LED sits inside a set-back white reflector, so looking at the ceiling from an angle you do not see the diodes themselves. The ceiling cut-out and the space above it The opening is cut at 135 mm and the 150 mm flange covers its edge. The fitting is held by two spring clips that close onto the board on their own — nothing is screwed down once it is in. The body is 5 cm deep, so that much free space has to remain above the ceiling board, supply cable included. The fitting weighs 0.26 kg. How much light, and what kind Twelve watts produce 1080 lm — a little more than an old 60 W bulb. One point lights a section of a room, so the number of fittings follows the floor area rather than relying on a single unit. 3000 K is a warm white, close to the light of a traditional incandescent lamp. The module is rated for 30,000 hours, after which the whole fitting is changed — which is why the manufacturer backs it with a five-year warranty. The fitting is not dimmable: it will not work with a dimmer and has no brightness control of its own.
