Lucide TUBE Surface-Mounted Ceiling Spotlight Matt Gold GU10 Ø 9.6 cm 22952/01/02

Name: Lucide TUBE Surface-Mounted Ceiling Spotlight Matt Gold GU10 Ø 9.6 cm 22952/01/02
Brand: Lucide

Lucide TUBE 22952/01/02 is a surface-mounted ceiling spotlight shaped as an aluminium cylinder 9.6 cm in diameter and 12.5 cm tall, finished in matt gold. The tube screws to the ceiling with a round mounting plate of the same diameter, and inside it sits a tilting ring holding a GU10 socket. Where it fits and how it is mounted The 9.6 cm mounting plate covers a standard junction box, and the fitting needs no cut-out in the ceiling. That makes it the option where a recessed downlight cannot go — under a concrete slab with no suspended ceiling, for example. Installation materials are included. The fitting is protection class I, so it is connected to the earth conductor. Lucide suggests TUBE for a small hallway or a toilet, and several in a row above a bar or a kitchen worktop. It is intended for indoor use. What light it gives and what to buy separately No bulb is included. The GU10 socket takes a lamp of up to 50 W at 230 V — LED or halogen. As the matching lamp Lucide names its own dimmable GU10 LED of 5 W at 3000 K (49006/05/30), a warm white, sold separately. Light falls downwards, and the socket ring tilts so the beam can be aimed at a wall, a picture or a worktop instead of straight below the fitting. How wide the beam is depends on the lamp you choose. TUBE can be dimmed, but that needs a dimmable lamp and a dimmer in the circuit — neither comes in the box. Build and rooms Body and mounting plate are aluminium with a matt gold coating that does not throw reflections. A smooth, undecorated cylinder is the classic tube form in a contemporary interior; the TUBE series also offers the same fitting in white. The spotlight suits a hallway or corridor, kitchen and dining room, living room and bedroom, as well as an office, a study and hotel or restaurant interiors — anywhere light should land on a particular spot rather than fill the whole room.Pokaż więcej
