Recessed LED profile LUMINES type Z white lacquered 2 m

Name: Recessed LED profile LUMINES type Z white lacquered 2 m
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES Z is a white lacquered aluminium recessed profile for LED strip, supplied in a 2020 mm length. Its cross-section is unusually shallow — total height is 7 mm — so a shallow groove is enough to install it. The groove you need to cut The recessed body is 16 mm wide and 6 mm high, so that is the groove to rout into a furniture panel, a worktop or a stair tread. Only the 1 mm flange stays on the surface, overhanging 3 mm on each side — the profile measures 22 mm across in total, and that visible edge has to be allowed for. The profile presses into the finished groove, and on a smooth surface it can also be fixed with double-sided tape. Lengths in this range cannot be joined into one continuous run — a longer line needs a single 3 m piece, or a custom length up to 6 m ordered from the manufacturer. What fits inside and what you buy separately The internal channel is 13.4 mm wide and 4.3 mm deep, which takes LED strip up to 12 mm wide. The profile is sold bare: strip, cover and end caps are not included. BASIC covers in PMMA and polycarbonate — clear, frosted, milky, opal, black and the Lens 15 and Lens 30 optics — are bought separately in the same length. End caps with a cable hole, in ABS or aluminium, are a separate purchase too. The driver goes outside the profile, because the channel is taken up by the strip itself. How much power it can take The aluminium draws heat away from the strip, but only so far: the manufacturer gives a maximum dissipated LED power of 15.8 W at a profile temperature of 55 °C and 21.0 W at 65 °C. Those figures apply to the whole piece, so a strip with a high draw per metre brings a two-metre profile close to the upper limit. The profile itself is not sealed and in that state corresponds to IP20 — it belongs indoors. It can be sealed, and the manufacturer then quotes IP68. It is not rated to be driven over, so it does not suit floors with vehicle traffic. The maker intends it for decorative lighting in furniture and interior fit-out.Pokaż więcej
