L'Objet wooden table lamp brown L

Name: L'Objet wooden table lamp brown L
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

L'Objet is a table lamp whose base is cut from solid wood — a flat block with an irregular outline and two cut-outs that give it a sculptural turn. The grain and the natural colour variation of the wood are left on show. On top sits a wide conical shade in a fabric with a coarse, clearly visible weave in a natural sand tone. How much surface it takes up The manufacturer gives 30 × 11 × 40 cm. The shade is the widest part; the wooden base itself is only 11 cm deep, so the lamp occupies a narrow strip of the surface — it fits a bedside table or a shallow console, where a round base would have nothing to stand on. Add the 40 cm height to the height of the piece of furniture it will stand on: only that sum decides whether the lower edge of the shade ends up above or below the eye line of someone sitting beside it. What comes in the box and what light source it takes The manufacturer states that the cable is included — with a European standard plug (type C) and an E27 lampholder. The lamp therefore plugs straight into a socket, with no extra cable to buy and nothing to alter in the wiring. E27 is the most common thread, so you are free to choose the light source along with its colour and brightness. The wide cone of the shade is open at the bottom and sends most of the light onto the surface beneath the lamp; the shade itself is described by the manufacturer as diffusing the light gently. Wood, fabric and care The lamp is intended for indoor use only. The manufacturer notes that the wood does not cope well with extreme dryness or sudden changes in humidity — which rules out a terrace as well as a spot right next to a radiator. A soft cloth or brush is enough for cleaning, soap sparingly, and the surface is not to be soaked. Once a year the manufacturer recommends wiping the wood with a protective oil, which revives the colour. Every piece is made by hand in India, so grain pattern, tone and finish differ from one item to the next.Pokaż więcej
