Gea Luce GFA1697 adjustable trimless recessed spotlight, satin black, LED 8 W 3000 K

Name: Gea Luce GFA1697 adjustable trimless recessed spotlight, satin black, LED 8 W 3000 K
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GFA1697 is an adjustable trimless recessed spotlight with a slender cylindrical section extending below the ceiling. Its aluminium body has a satin black finish, while the transparent methacrylate diffuser is described by the manufacturer as anti-glare. The fitting combines a frame-free ceiling connection with a visible narrow tube rather than a flat, flush light opening.Plan for the recessed and projecting sectionsThe technical drawing specifies a 63 mm ceiling cut-out and an 87 mm mounting flange. The section above the flange plane is 55 mm high; the lower cylinder is 183 mm long and 31.5 mm in diameter. Both the space above the ceiling and the visible projection below it matter when choosing a location. Although this is a recessed fitting, its body does not finish level with the ceiling surface.Direct the beam towards a chosen areaThe 8 W LED module has a manufacturer-stated output of 650 lm and a warm white colour temperature of 3000 K. A 40° beam provides a defined pool of light rather than broad coverage from a single point. The head can rotate through 360° and tilt from 0 to 20°, allowing its direction to be matched to the intended surface or object. When planning several fittings, their positions should follow the areas that need emphasis, not just an evenly spaced ceiling pattern.Included components and switchingThe LED module and a separate transformer are included. The transformer is not integrated into the body, so its location needs to be allowed for in the installation plan. This model is non-dimmable and operates by on/off switching only; do not assume compatibility with a dimmer when choosing the control arrangement. The restrained tube shape and trimless connection suit modern and minimalist interiors. GFA1697 can provide accent lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, entrance halls and corridors, or selected areas of a study, hotel, restaurant or shop. Its directed beam should be treated as part of a lighting scheme rather than an automatic replacement for the room's general illumination.Pokaż więcej
