The Quintiesse Echelon QN-ECHELON-4P is a four-light pendant from Lisa McDennon’s collection for Hinkley. Its tiered form is made from steel bands in Heritage Brass, separated by rings of faux alabaster. The repeated horizontal layers and the brass-toned finish give this model its clearly Art Deco-led character.The fitting body is 674 mm high and 455 mm in diameter. These dimensions should be compared with the table and ceiling height before choosing its position.Set the drop during installationThe installed drop can be set from 892 to 1502 mm. Two 305 mm rods and one 152 mm rod are supplied, so the final suspension height is selected during installation. The manufacturer also states that it can be hung on a sloped ceiling, or used as a semi-flush fitting after the rods and top ceiling pan are removed.Four E14 lamp holdersEchelon has four E14 holders for candle-style bulbs or LED equivalents, with a maximum of 40 W per lamp. Light sources are not included. The fitting is compatible with dimmable lamps, so a dimming result also depends on the selected lamps and the installation.Materials and placementThe steel structure and faux-alabaster elements create a layered decorative detail rather than a plain shade. This model is intended for interior locations, operates on 220–240 V mains power and has Class I protection.
