Nova Nook DOUX upholstered lounge chair, espresso brown, walnut-finish ash wood

Name: Nova Nook DOUX upholstered lounge chair, espresso brown, walnut-finish ash wood
Brand: Nova Nook

DOUX by Nova Nook is an upholstered lounge chair in espresso brown. Its shape combines a broad, rounded seat with a curved backrest, leaving a visible opening between the two. A wooden base and side elements beside the backrest have a walnut finish that complements the brown fabric upholstery.Check the footprint and seat heightThe chair measures 75 cm wide, 73 cm deep and 74 cm high overall. Compare all three measurements with the intended position: width determines the space along a wall or sofa, while depth shows how far the chair will project towards a walkway. These are the outside dimensions of the whole chair, not the measurements of the usable seat surface. The manufacturer's drawing gives a seat height of 48 cm. This provides a reference when comparing DOUX with a chair you already use or considering the height of a side table. The backrest is low in relation to the whole silhouette; this is not a high-backed chair with a headrest. Consider that distinction when deciding what kind of back support you want.Ash wood with a walnut finishThe manufacturer identifies the wooden backrest elements and base as ash. Walnut describes their finish rather than the species of wood. The upholstery is brown fabric; the close-up photograph shows its fine weave and the bound edge of the backrest. When coordinating the chair with existing furniture, assess the fabric colour separately from the finish of the visible wooden parts.Rounded seating with a retro referenceThe curved backrest, rounded seat body and low wooden base give DOUX a modernist appearance with retro references. It can serve as a separate seat in a living room, bedroom or home study. Allow for the full 75 × 73 cm footprint beside other furniture, with additional space to approach the seat.Pokaż więcej
