Maytoni Dot DL029-2-01B black recessed ceiling light, GU10, 9 × 9 cm

Name: Maytoni Dot DL029-2-01B black recessed ceiling light, GU10, 9 × 9 cm
Brand: Maytoni

Maytoni Dot DL029-2-01B is a black recessed ceiling fitting with a square frame and a deeply set circular opening for the bulb. Its aluminium body gives the ceiling a defined geometric detail, while the movable insert lets you direct the light away from a straight downward position. It takes one replaceable GU10 bulb rather than an integrated LED module.Check the space above the ceilingThe visible frame measures 9 × 9 cm and the body is 4.5 cm high. That body height is not the complete installation allowance. Maytoni specifies an installation depth of 11 cm with the bulb fitted and a square cut-out measuring 8 × 8 cm. Before choosing this downlight, compare both requirements with the ceiling construction and the available space above it.The black border remains visible after installation. This is not a trimless fitting designed to have its edges concealed beneath the ceiling finish. Its straight outline and dark recessed interior suit modern and minimalist layouts, particularly where the visible light points form a deliberate geometric arrangement.Choose the bulb separatelyThe light source is not included. The GU10 socket accepts a replaceable bulb, and the current manufacturer page and installation sheet specify a maximum of 10 W. Brightness, colour temperature and beam width depend on that separate bulb; the fitting itself has no fixed light colour. For a group of downlights, matching bulb specifications helps keep the light consistent between positions.Aiming is different from dimmingThe swivelling mechanism changes the direction of the light, with a 30° tilt shown in the manufacturer's drawing. This can help when planning ceiling points in a living room, hallway or study. Choose the number and spacing according to the room and the selected bulbs rather than assuming one fitting will illuminate the entire space. Maytoni lists this version as non-dimmable, so its mechanical adjustment should not be mistaken for brightness control.Pokaż więcej
