The Endon Cordero 101568 is a drum-shaped flush ceiling light: the outer skin is a gold-finished fretwork of repeating ovals, with a white fabric shade set inside it. A frosted glass disc closes the underside. The fitting mounts tight to the ceiling on a short gold-finished base. How much room it takes below the ceiling The drum is 43 cm across and hangs 26 cm below the ceiling. That second figure is what decides where it goes: the manufacturer intends it for rooms with low ceilings, where a pendant would be in the way. Build and connection The metal skin carries a gold-effect plated finish, and because the pattern is cut right through, the lit fitting draws a repeating rhythm of bright shapes onto the ceiling and walls. The inner shade is white fabric and the diffuser is frosted glass. The fitting is protection class I, so an earth conductor has to be present at the ceiling point.
