Miki 2 is a twin surface-mounted fitting: two black cylinders set side by side, each with its own socket for an ES111 lamp. The body is lacquered steel. It is not recessed into the ceiling — it screws onto the finished surface. Dimensions, and how the light is aimed The whole fitting measures 290 mm wide, 145 mm deep and stands 100 mm below the ceiling. That last figure matters in a room with a low ceiling and next to cabinets, because the body stays on the surface and is seen from every side. The same collection also holds the single-head Miki 1, and both come in white as well. The part holding the lamp moves: it rotates through 355° and tilts by 25°. Both light points can therefore be aimed somewhere specific — a picture, a shelf unit, a worktop — instead of only lighting the floor underneath. Which lamps fit The sockets are GU10 in the ES111 format, the wide reflector lamp measuring 111 mm across. The maker allows up to 18 W of LED in each of the two sockets. Lamps are not included. ES111 lamps are made across a wide range of wattages and beam angles, so the lamp you choose decides whether the fitting throws a narrow spot onto one object or broad, soft light across a whole zone. The colour of the light is your choice too. Build and mounting Black-lacquered steel, with no screws visible on the cylinder sides. The fitting runs on 220–230 V and is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry interiors. The maker covers it with a five-year warranty. The fitting screws straight to the ceiling through its base plate, and the connector block has three terminals — live, neutral and earth — so the installation has to bring a protective earth conductor.
