Norlys Bern 651ST Outdoor Wall Light, Stainless Steel, Satin Glass, E27 IP54

Name: Norlys Bern 651ST Outdoor Wall Light, Stainless Steel, Satin Glass, E27 IP54
Brand: NORLYS

Bern 651ST is an outdoor wall light with a square front of brushed stainless steel and a satin safety-glass diffuser crossed by two horizontal steel bands. It sits flat against the wall like a ceiling plate, and the frosted glass spreads the light evenly with no visible bulb. Size and mounting The light measures 24.5 × 24.5 cm, projects 12 cm from the wall and weighs 2.9 kg. It is screwed to the wall through two ø4.5 mm holes at 170 × 50 mm spacing. The base is powder-coated cast aluminium and the front is stainless steel. The terminals take conductors up to 3×2.5 mm², and the gland takes a round cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. The manufacturer allows fittings to be looped through with cable up to 3×1.5 mm², so several lights on one façade run from a single supply line. It is a protection class I luminaire and must be connected to the protective earth. Light source Inside is an E27 socket for an A55–A60 shaped bulb of up to 9 W LED. The bulb is not included – you choose it yourself, and a 9 W LED is roughly as bright as an old 60 W bulb. The colour of the light is set by the bulb: 2700–3000 K gives warm light. The bulb is replaced by the user without a service call. The satin glass turns a point source into an evenly glowing panel, so the light does not dazzle people walking past. The manufacturer also offers version 650 with a clear diffuser, in which the bulb is visible. Durability and intended use IP54 means protection against splashing water from any direction, and IK07 rates the housing's impact resistance. A silicone gasket seals the fitting. The manufacturer sells the diffuser and the gasket as spare parts, so broken glass can be replaced without buying a whole new light. The manufacturer describes Bern 651 as a light of classic design. It is intended for outdoor use – on the house wall and on a balcony, as well as in hotels and restaurants.Pokaż więcej
