Amelia flush ceiling light - 2 light sources - Heritage Brass Elstead
Amelia is a round flush ceiling light from the American brand Hinkley, distributed in Europe by Elstead Lighting. The steel dome in a Heritage Brass finish — warm, brushed brass with darker worn areas — sits under a pierced gallery ring with rectangular cut-outs. It is closed underneath by a cast glass diffuser with a pressed texture, set in a cast metal trim ring and held by ornamental knob-shaped clasps. Hinkley describes these details as a nod to vintage and retro style. Size and mounting The light is 32.4 cm in diameter and 17 cm high. As a flush fitting it takes no headroom, so it suits a hallway, a bedroom or a room with a lower ceiling. It weighs 3.45 kg. It is Class I, so the installation must include an earth conductor, and it is intended for indoor use only. Bulbs and light The diffuser covers two E27 bulbs of up to 40 W each. Bulbs are not included. The manufacturer recommends a separately sold clear LED E27 A60 lamp rated 8 W, 800 lm and 3000 K — two of them give warm white light in roughly the amount of two old 60 W incandescent bulbs. The textured glass hides the bulbs and diffuses the light, which leaves the fitting downwards. The fitting is dimmable when used with bulbs marked as dimmable and a suitable dimmer. Finish and series Heritage Brass is brass with a warm, subdued sheen, and the photos show visible brushing marks.
