NORLYS London 481BD outdoor wall lantern, black with gold patina, hanging from an arm, E27, IP54

Name: NORLYS London 481BD outdoor wall lantern, black with gold patina, hanging from an arm, E27, IP54
Brand: NORLYS

London 481BD is a Norlys wall lantern in a classic English shape: a four-sided lantern hangs beneath a curved arm and points downwards. It has a pitched roof with a knob on top, four clear panes and a turned finial at the bottom. The cast-aluminium body is black rubbed with gold patina, so a warm, brass-like tone shows through on the edges and ornaments. Size and mounting The lantern is 42 cm high and 20.5 cm wide, and it projects 33 cm from the wall. Compare those 33 cm with the spot you have in mind: above a door or next to a gate, that is how much space the lantern takes over the passage. The wall plate is 23 cm high and is fixed with four screws through ø5 mm holes spaced 25 × 140 mm apart. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm² in a round sheath of 7–10.5 mm diameter. The luminaire is protection class II, so it needs no earth conductor, and it weighs 1.8 kg. To hang it on the corner of a building you need the 152XX0009 corner bracket, sold separately by the manufacturer. Which bulb to choose Inside there is one E27 lampholder for an A55–A60 shaped LED bulb of up to 9 W. The bulb is not included, and you replace it yourself without a service visit. The shape matters when buying: a larger decorative globe will not fit under the panes. An LED bulb of about 806 lm gives roughly the light of an old 60 W bulb, and 2700 K produces warm, slightly yellow light. The panes are clear, so the bulb stays visible and the light goes sideways and downwards, onto the wall and the entrance below the lantern. Outdoors all year round The panes are UV-stabilised polycarbonate, which yellows in sunlight more slowly than ordinary plastic. IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any direction, so the lantern can hang on an exposed facade, at the entrance or in the garden. The manufacturer gives an operating range of −20 to +45 °C, so frost down to −20 °C does not rule it out. If a pane gets damaged, the 0904800051 lampshade service kit is available.Meer tonen
