This power connection is a set that feeds current into a run of BERGMEN Neon Flex VR. It consists of an end piece with two contacts that pushes onto the cut end of the strip, a white 30 cm lead ending in bare conductors, and a cap that closes the other end of the run. What exactly is in the set The set has three parts: the feed end piece with a straight output, the 30 cm lead and the end cap. One set serves one run of neon — current in at one end, closed off at the other. Nothing has to be soldered: for the VR series the manufacturer states that power accessories and connectors are fitted without soldering. For part of that series it also allows feeding from both ends — a connection then sits at each end and the cap goes unused. What it fits and what you have to buy separately The manufacturer assigns this connection to the Neon Flex VR strip alone. The end piece has two contacts, so it fits the single-colour versions; the RGB strip of the same series has its own connection with a different number of conductors. Neon Flex VR runs on 24 V DC, so the bare conductors go to a driver of that voltage. No driver is included — it is chosen to match the total load of the connected run. Straight output rather than bottom output In this version the lead leaves along the axis of the strip, continuing the line of the run. Room therefore has to be left beyond the end of the neon for the lead and its bend. Where a run ends right at an edge or in a corner, the same series has a connection with a bottom output, where the lead drops away under the strip.Meer tonen
