VENCID is a round ceiling light 45 cm across: a shallow domed shell in steel finished matt brown, with a wide white acrylic cover set into a brown rim underneath. The manufacturer lists steel, aluminium and acrylic in the build. The outer face of the dome is smooth, with no visible screws or joints. How much ceiling it takes The fitting is 9.5 cm deep and sits flush against the ceiling, so it does not reach down into the room - it fits where a pendant would hang too low. On the ceiling it occupies a 45 cm circle; compare that with the width of the room and with the distance to a wall or a sloping ceiling at the mounting point. How much light it gives, and what kind The built-in LED module draws 25 W and delivers 1765 lm. For comparison, an old 60 W incandescent gave around 800 lm, so this fitting is the main light in a room rather than an addition to one. The 3000 K colour is warm white - warmer than daylight, but without the distinctly yellow cast of 2700 K. The whole underside glows through milky acrylic, so individual diodes and point reflections are not visible. The LED module is integrated into the fitting: there is no bulb to unscrew and the module cannot be replaced by the owner. Dimming and supply The manufacturer states TRIAC dimming, that is, phase-cut control. Using it requires a dimmer of that type in the installation - with an integrated module there is no choice of lamp that could substitute for it. The fitting runs directly from 230 V mains.Meer tonen
