Reveal® for Multi-Treenut is uniquely designed to screen environmental swabs, rinses and validated food products for the presence of any one or a combination of almond, hazelnut, pecan, walnut, cashew and/or pistachio. Reveal for Multi-Treenut is intended for use only in an industrial food manufacturing/preparation context. Because of the problems of adequate sampling and extraction of treenuts, it is not suitable for the testing of foods to be consumed in the home or in a restaurant by allergic individuals. The test detects significant (low parts per million, or ppm) levels of almond, hazelnut, pecan, walnut, cashew and/or pistachio in clean-in-place rinses and environmental swabs.
