SFERO is a round polycarbonate LED profile in opal, 32 mm in outside diameter and 3 m long. The tube is hollow — the light source slides inside, so the body and the diffuser are one and the same part. How it spreads the light Opal polycarbonate diffuses light around the whole circumference, so the profile emits over a full 360° instead of through one face the way an aluminium profile with a clip-in cover does. Suspended from a ceiling it reads as a single line of light from the side and from above as well — which matters wherever the fitting hangs at eye level. The manufacturer rates the profile IP20 and offers no sealing option for it, so it belongs in dry interiors. Ways to mount it SFERO mounts on the surface — on a screw or in SFERO MS2 metal holders — or on suspension wires, hung vertically or horizontally. The manufacturer also allows a mixed arrangement: one end on a wire, the other fixed to a wall. Lengths cannot be joined into one continuous run; the manufacturer's specification lists "Connection option: No". Standard lengths are 1, 2 and 3 m, and non-standard pieces up to 6 m are made to order. What you buy alongside it The box holds the profile alone. The light source is the flexible SFERO FLEX neon running on 24 V DC, sold in five-metre lengths in 2700 K or 4000 K, and the driver sits outside the profile — there is no room for it inside the tube. The ends are closed with aluminium SFERO MS1, MS2 or MS3 end caps in black or silver. Each comes with a cable hole and without one, so a single run normally takes two different caps: the drilled one at the supply end and the blind one at the other.Meer tonen
