Lucide CASTAMAR taupe LED table lamp 8 W 2100 K 40 cm 34552/03/41

Name: Lucide CASTAMAR taupe LED table lamp 8 W 2100 K 40 cm 34552/03/41
Brand: Lucide

Lucide CASTAMAR 34552/03/41 is a steel table lamp finished in taupe, a grey-brown shade. A smaller disc stands in front of the large upright circular shade, screening the light source, while a conical base supports the assembly. This is not the familiar arrangement of a lampshade sitting above a bulb: light emerges behind the front disc and illuminates the inside of the larger curved surface.Extra-warm light for an accent, not a whole deskThe integrated LED is rated at 8 W with a colour temperature of 2100 K. It produces extra-warm light, noticeably warmer than a conventional 3000 K source. Lucide specifies a luminous flux of up to 100 lm. CASTAMAR is therefore an additional decorative light rather than the only source for reading, paperwork or lighting an entire room. The light source is built into the fitting, so there is no separate screw-in bulb to choose. The lamp is not dimmable and is not designed to direct its beam towards a selected point. Its front screen and large concave shade form the distinctive arrangement for indirect illumination.Allow for the shade, not just the baseThe overall height is 40 cm, with a width of 25.5 cm and a depth of 9.8 cm. Although the round base measures only 9.8 cm across, the shade is considerably wider. Before placing it on a sideboard or bedside table, compare the available space with the complete outline of the lamp rather than its footprint alone. The height is fixed.A black 180 cm cable carries the on/off switch. A driver is included, and the manufacturer specifies an adapter connected to the 230 V mains supply. Check the distance to the socket when deciding where it will stand, and keep the cable switch within reach.A modern circular form with a retro detailSpray-painted steel, two overlapping circular forms and a conical base combine modern geometry with a retro reference. Consider it as additional lighting in a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway. In an office or study it can accompany, rather than replace, dedicated task lighting. It is intended for indoor use. Taupe covers the metal components; the cable remains black.Meer tonen
