GES873C Black Gea Luce Outdoor Wall Sconce, IP54

Name: GES873C Black Gea Luce Outdoor Wall Sconce, IP54
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GES873C is a matt black outdoor LED wall light with a curved front and light directed both upwards and downwards. Its body is made from die-cast aluminium, with a transparent glass diffuser covering the light source. The closed front presents a simple outline, while the lighting effect appears on the wall above and below the fitting.Shape the beams with internal shuttersMovable internal shutters allow the beam angle to be adjusted within a 0–115° range. This changes the distribution of light, not the brightness of the LEDs. You can therefore choose a narrow wall accent or a broader spread without relocating the fitting itself. The manufacturer's photograph shows this two-direction effect on a vertical wall. The integrated modules are rated at 2 × 5 W and provide a 3000 K warm white colour temperature. The manufacturer states a luminous flux of 355 lm and CRI >80. This fitting is useful for shaping light close to a wall; the flux figure alone does not establish how brightly an entire terrace will be lit. The positions and outputs of other lights still matter when planning a larger area.LED and transformer includedThe LED module and transformer are supplied with the fitting, so there is no separate screw-in bulb to choose. GES873C operates by on/off switching and is not dimmable. When selecting controls, distinguish the adjustable shutters from a dimmer: the former alter the beam shape, while electrical brightness adjustment is not supported by this model.Outdoor wall installation and careThe manufacturer specifies outdoor wall mounting and an IP54 rating. Suitable settings include a façade or the wall beside a terrace or balcony. The rounded body has no ornamental detailing, giving it a modern, minimalist character rather than a traditional lantern appearance. The supply is 220–240 V AC and the fitting is Class I. Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel with the mains supply disconnected. The instructions recommend a damp cloth with mild detergent, followed by gentle drying with a soft cloth. Water and cleaning solution must not come into contact with cables or electrical components.Meer tonen
