Spectrum LED FIALE Square recessed LED light with blue frame 4 W 6000 K

Name: Spectrum LED FIALE Square recessed LED light with blue frame 4 W 6000 K
Brand: SpectrumLED

FIALE Square is a square recessed LED downlight with an 80 × 80 mm face, four diodes grouped in the centre and a blue frame around them. The housing is aluminium, and the LED module and driver come with the fitting, so nothing else is needed to run it. Fitting it into the ceiling The fitting is recessed: it sits inside the ceiling and only the square face remains visible. The photo shows two spring clips on the sides of the body, which hold it in the cut-out. The installation depth is 40 mm — compare this with the free space above a suspended ceiling board or inside built-in furniture. The driver is included, so the fitting connects directly to a 230 V circuit. As a class II fitting it needs no earth conductor. The manufacturer specifies it for indoor use only. What light it gives Four diodes drawing 4 W in total produce 450 lm at 6000 K, a cool, slightly bluish white that is closer to daylight than to a traditional bulb. The 30° beam angle concentrates this output into a narrow cone: it creates a distinct pool of light below the fitting rather than even lighting across the room. FIALE Square works as accent lighting or as one of several points in a row, not as a room's only light. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 is the general-lighting standard — enough where shades do not need to be judged precisely. The fitting cannot be dimmed, so it should not be connected to a dimmer. Lifetime of the built-in diodes The diodes are fixed in place, so at the end of their life the whole fitting is replaced rather than a bulb. The manufacturer states 17,000 hours and 15,000 switching cycles — at three hours a day that is roughly 15 years. The cycle rating matters in a hallway, where the light goes on and off many times a day. Where to use it The fitting is intended for kitchens, hallways, offices and studies. In a kitchen the narrow beam picks out a chosen section of the worktop, in a hallway several downlights in a line mark the route, and in an office or study they light shelves or a bookcase from above. The blue frame and plain square shape are a modern detail that stays visible on the ceiling even when the light is off.Meer tonen
