The BUIN LE41365 is a wall light shaped as a slim black rod 60 cm long. One end carries a small round plate that fixes to the wall, the other a rectangular block; apart from those it is one smooth line, with no shade and no ornament. It is made of aluminium finished in black.How much wall it takes The fitting occupies 60 cm of wall and stands 7 cm off it, and its section is 3.5 cm high. Compare both with the clear space around the spot you have in mind — 7 cm of projection keeps the fitting out of the way of anyone passing, while 60 cm of length needs an uninterrupted run of wall.The light it gives One LED light point is built in permanently: 10 W, 366 lm, colour temperature 3000 K. The source comes with the fitting and is not changed like a bulb — when it reaches the end of its life, the whole fitting is what gets replaced. 366 lm is accent-level brightness rather than lighting for a whole room: the fitting marks a stretch of wall, lights a mirror or a dressing table, while reading or working will want a second source. At 3000 K the light is warm white, close to an old incandescent bulb, so it does not cool down the black finish or the colour of the wall.The rest of the BUIN family The maker offers the same fitting in three lengths — 60, 90 and 120 cm — and two projections, 7 and 9 cm, always in black aluminium.
