Angle is a pendant lamp with a bell-shaped metal shade in matt grey and a white interior. A metal bracket on the flank of the shade catches the cord — together with the magnet on the cord it is what holds the shade at a tilt. The lamp was designed by Maria Berntsen. Setting the angle of the light The cord clips into the bracket and the magnet holds it there, so the shade stays tilted and the light goes sideways instead of straight down. The setting is changed by hand, with no tools — you just reposition the cord in the bracket. The maker also intends the lamp to be hung several at a time, each at a different angle. Worth knowing before that: lamps in this range cannot be wired in series, so each one needs its own supply point. Size and suspension The shade is 20.6 cm across and 31.5 cm tall, the ceiling canopy 11.85 cm across and 7.35 cm deep. The cord runs 300 cm and is shortened during installation, so the hanging height is matched to the room. Over a table the lower rim usually sits 70–80 cm above the top. At 20.6 cm across, one lamp lights a section of the top rather than the whole table — over a longer top a row of several is the natural answer. The lamp weighs 1 kg. Bulb and connection The lamp takes one E27 bulb and the maker allows up to 25 W. In practice that limit means an LED bulb, because a filament lamp of that wattage gives little light. No bulb is supplied. The light can be dimmed, but only with a bulb marked as dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit. The lamp is protection class II, so it needs no earth conductor. The supply cord is grey with a textile braid, and the maker does not provide for replacing it.Meer tonen
