Lillehammer DC1587BL Black Outdoor Wall Sconce by NORLYS

Name: Lillehammer DC1587BL Black Outdoor Wall Sconce by NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

NORLYS Lillehammer DC1587BL is a black outdoor wall light with an exclusively upward beam. Its rectangular body is made from powder-coated aluminium and fitted with clear safety glass. This black finish corresponds to RAL 9005. The DC1587BL is a 24 V DC version, not a fitting that can be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply.Light for the wall aboveThe integrated 3.6 W LED module produces warm white light at 3000 K. Its optics direct that light upward at an angle of 60°, making this version suitable for highlighting wall surfaces and architectural details above the mounting point. It does not provide a second downward beam to illuminate the pavement below. The complete luminaire delivers 115 lm. This is different from the LED source's 532 lm: when planning the façade lighting, use the output leaving the finished fitting rather than the bare source value. Lillehammer provides a focused architectural accent rather than general illumination for the whole surrounding area.Plan the power supply separatelyAn external power supply with a stabilised 24 V DC output is required. Power and control arrangements need to be included in the installation design. The LED module supports dimming, but this does not establish compatibility with every mains dimmer. Replacement of the light source is reserved for professional servicing, rather than a routine user bulb change.Check the wall spaceThe body measures 18.5 cm high, 11 cm wide and 8 cm deep. Compare these dimensions with the available wall area and consider the surface above the fitting, where its beam will fall. The plain black geometry suits modern, minimalist and Scandinavian architectural schemes without adding decorative ornament.IP65 protection and an IK08 impact rating apply to the complete, correctly installed fitting. Its construction includes a silicone seal and an EPDM cable gland. Installation should be carried out by a qualified installer following the manufacturer's instructions; correct cable entry is important to retain the specified protection.Show more
