Name: NORLYS Vasa 454BL Outdoor Wall Light, Black, LED 6 W 3000 K, Upward Light, IP65
Brand: NORLYS

Vasa 454BL is an outdoor wall light shaped as a half-round band: the flat back sits against the wall, and the rounded cast aluminium body, powder-coated black (RAL 9005), projects 15.5 cm from it. The light is 31 cm wide and 12.5 cm tall, and its cover of clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate forms the top surface.Which way it shinesAll of the light goes upward: the maker states ULOR 100% and a BUG rating of B0-U3-G0. It brightens the wall above and brings out its texture, but does not light the ground below, so an entrance or path underneath needs a downward-facing wall light. The Cree LED module produces 799 lm from 4.2 W, and 440 lm leaves the luminaire at a 6 W draw. At 3000 K the light is warm white, and Ra 80 shows render, timber or stone without obvious colour distortion. It can be phase-dimmed with either a trailing-edge (TE) or a leading-edge (LE) dimmer.Mounting and connectionIt fixes either via an intermediate plate with two 5 × 10 mm adjustment slots 45 mm apart, or directly through two ø5 mm holes 68 mm apart, and weighs 2.27 kg. It is protection class I and needs a protective earth conductor. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the next light can be looped through with up to 3 × 1.5 mm², so several fittings on one façade can share a supply line; the manufacturer allows 46 per B10 breaker and 75 per B16.Build and servicingIP65 lets it stay on the wall without cover, and IK08 means resistance to ordinary knocks. The body is sealed with a silicone gasket and the ø7–10.5 mm cable entry with an EPDM gland. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service using the Norlys service kit. The driver is rated for 50,000 h, and the module keeps 80% of its flux for more than 102,000 h.Show more
