Norlys Vasa 454WH outdoor wall light, white RAL 9003, LED 6 W 3000 K, uplight

Name: Norlys Vasa 454WH outdoor wall light, white RAL 9003, LED 6 W 3000 K, uplight
Brand: NORLYS

Vasa 454WH is a Norlys outdoor wall light with a half-round body 31 cm wide, made of cast aluminium powder-coated white (RAL 9003). It shines upward only: the light opening is closed by a clear, textured UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser, and the whole output spreads hemispherically above the fitting. What light it gives The integrated LED module with its driver draws 6 W and gives warm white 3000 K light, with 440 lm leaving the fitting. Because the light goes only upward, the lamp brightens the wall and eaves above it while the path below stays in shadow, so it is a fitting for accenting a façade rather than lighting steps or a driveway. Colour rendering is Ra 80. It can be dimmed with a phase dimmer of either type, trailing edge (TE) or leading edge (LE). The maker rates the module at L80 above 102,000 hours and the driver at 50,000 hours; the LED module and driver are replaced by professional service, not by the user. Installation and connection The light can be fixed through an intermediate plate with two 5 × 10 mm adjustment slots 45 mm apart, or directly through two ø5 mm holes 68 mm apart, as described in the supplied instructions. It weighs 2.27 kg. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next fitting (up to 3 × 1.5 mm²), and the gland takes a cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. For a row of these on a façade the maker states how many one circuit breaker will carry: 46 on B10, 75 on B16, 74 on C10 and 120 on C16. It is a protection class I fitting and needs an earth conductor; IP65 and IK08 impact resistance allow mounting on a wall with no roof over it.Show more
