BAZAR BIZAR

The Raffia Square Cushion Cover 60x60 cm, Natural with Black Fringe

Name: The Raffia Square Cushion Cover 60x60 cm, Natural with Black Fringe
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

The Raffia is a square cushion cover handwoven from raffia in a natural straw colour and edged all round with a dense fringe of black raffia. The weave is bold and clearly visible, and the irregular black strands form a border you see from every side — even when the cushion is propped against the back of a sofa. Size and what is included The cover measures 60 × 60 cm, and the manufacturer gives a filled height of 10 cm. It therefore takes a 60 × 60 cm insert — a size to compare with the seat depth of your sofa or the width of the headboard the cushion will sit against. No insert is included: you are buying the cover only, and the filling has to be bought separately. Material and care Raffia is a fibre obtained from the leaves of a palm. Each cover is woven by hand in Indonesia, so the run of the weave and the length of the fringe can vary slightly from piece to piece. The manufacturer intends it for indoor use only. The cover is not washed. Clean the surface gently with a soft brush or a dry cloth, use a lightly damp cloth only when necessary, and dry it thoroughly afterwards. The manufacturer advises avoiding humidity because it damages the fibre structure, so the cover is not meant for a bathroom, a terrace or the garden. Style and range The look is clearly boho: natural fibre, a visible hand weave and a loose fringe in contrasting black. In the same line Bazar Bizar also offers an all-natural cover and a smaller natural-and-black version measuring 40 × 40 cm.Show more
