REIF recessed luminaire DL049-01B Maytoni

Name: REIF recessed luminaire DL049-01B Maytoni
Brand: Maytoni

Maytoni Reif DL049-01B is a black aluminium recessed fitting for one GU10 light source. Its circular rim surrounds a deeper, tapered body, leaving a defined black detail at ceiling level rather than a large shade suspended beneath it.Check the space above the ceilingThe fitting measures 68 mm across its outer rim, while the body itself is 54 mm high. Those measurements do not describe the whole installation space. Maytoni specifies an installation depth of 110 mm with the lamp fitted, so the available ceiling void must be checked against that figure rather than the height of the aluminium body alone. The manufacturer's current documentation specifies a round cut-out measuring 60 mm in diameter. Compare these dimensions with the installation position and the instructions supplied with the fitting before cutting. Reif is a recessed design, not a fitting intended to have its entire body fixed onto the ceiling surface.A replaceable GU10 source, not a fixed light outputDL049-01B has one GU10 socket, with a current maximum source rating of 10 W. This is the permitted lamp wattage, not a brightness specification. Colour temperature, luminous flux and beam angle need to be checked for the selected lamp; the aluminium fitting does not establish those values.Maytoni lists this variant as non-dimmable. For a circuit using a dimmer, do not assume compatibility simply because the source has a GU10 base. The fitting's supply rating is 220–240 V AC.A small black accent in a lighting planThe restrained circular form suits modern and minimalist interiors. It can be considered for planned ceiling lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways or offices, as well as kitchens and dining areas. Choose the number and spacing of fittings around the room and the selected lamp's characteristics. A single light point does not establish sufficient illumination for the entire space.Show more
