LED Labs PROFI 16-2211-01 is a 48 V DC LED strip with warm-white 3000 K light, supplied on a 25 m reel. Its SMD 2835 LEDs sit on a 10 mm wide PCB. It is a component for a linear lighting installation, rather than a complete light fitting with its own power supply.Plan the cut length and power feedsThe cutting interval is 10 mm, allowing the strip length to be matched to a profile in those increments. Check the profile's available strip width against the 10 mm PCB before installation. Reel length and maximum single-ended feed length are different: the manufacturer allows up to 15 m when powered from one end.A power supply with a 48 V DC output is required. With consumption of 12 W per metre, the necessary supply capacity depends on the length actually installed. LED Labs recommends adding a 10% margin to the calculated power requirement. Decide how a longer installation will be divided and where its feeds will enter before sticking down the strip; the full reel length alone does not establish the power arrangement.Warm-white light for furniture illuminationThe 3000 K colour temperature gives warm-white light. Output of 1700 lm/m helps compare different run lengths, but this is the strip's light output, not that of a finished fitting with a diffuser. A colour rendering index of Ra ≥ 90 matters when distinguishing the colours of illuminated objects. The datasheet specifies a 120° beam angle.With a suitably designed profile and supply arrangement, the strip can illuminate shelves, a dressing area or the space beneath kitchen cabinets. In a kitchen, placement must account for moisture: this IP20 version is not intended for positions requiring enhanced moisture resistance. Under-cabinet installation is therefore not a blanket recommendation for every location.A lighting component, not a decorative fixtureThe chosen profile and installation determine the visible style; the strip has no decorative lamp body of its own. The manufacturer specifies Blue Tape for attachment inside a cleaned profile and a 3 oz copper PCB layer. Its five-year warranty and stated L70/B50 lifetime of 60000 h are separate measures, not interchangeable periods.Show more
